We realized that Apple has all the technology ready As a part of its accessibility features, within the ecosystem.
All we needed to do was to integrate and utilize them
Solution
By redefining the technological feature that already exists in the palm of our hands, our devices will now detect the sound of the EVs and alert the pedestrians to ensure safety.
Promotion
Utilizing the interactive Out Of Homes on side walks, EV sounds will be sent out from the speakers. As devices detect the sounds, it will automatically alert the user about the danger they might have faced while providing an option to enable the new feature.
With the automobile industry constantly striving to focus on Electric Vehicles, it is now slowly becoming a standard for automobiles. At the same time, the headphone market strived for the perfection of Active Noise Cancellation. However, these two unrelated trajectories of technological development created a completely unexpected problem. In the US alone, one pedestrian gets into a car accident while using headphones every two hours. So, Apple will create a whole new feature by using technologies that already existed in our hands and actively use its ecosystem to inform users of the dangers they may face. Apple is doing its best to ensure users’ digital safety. And it will now ensure user safety in the real world, by un-canceling sounds.
